Ceremonia

Ceremonies or performances for the artist exist as meditative interventions and rituals. Religious and traditional ceremonies and Mexican cultural upbringing influence performative gestures and transitions. Alienness, sound meditation, butoh, as well as Mexico's dance rituals are present in these performative ceremonies

The interest in melding sculpture and body is the emphasis of this art practice. There are interests in melding technology with the body. How do video, audio, and sculptural objects influence the body? How can the body fragment borders between physical movement and stagnant artwork? How can the body fragment the border between emotion in one's gestures and expressions, and the expressive and/ or lacking emotion in a sculpture?
